You will reach the middle of the dense forest with the bait prepared with valerian and attached to the camera trap.
Wild cats and other animal species specifically seek out the wooden stick, rub against it and leave behind a few hairs which can then be genetically studied. The pictures from the camera trap show which animal species have already been seen on the lure stick.
The tour ends with a night feeding session of our two wild cats Frieda & Carlo. You will experience how elegantly the nocturnal hunters roam through the darkness, how well they can orient themselves with their sense of smell and how quickly and skilfully they climb trees even in the dark.
