In the course of an excursion, Robert Müllner presents to us those bird species that are particularly easy to recognize due to their characteristic calls and songs.
Tits, finches, and nuthatches are impossible to ignore. Together we will imitate the calls of different woodpecker species and also try to attract them. We learn where the jay and the yellowhammer breed and where the kingfisher builds its breeding hole. Perhaps we can also observe the black stork fishing in the Thaya.
With a bit of luck, you may also see the white-tailed eagle, which can be observed from a distance with its wingspan of 2.5 metres. On a relaxed hike we let the bird songs guide us through the most beautiful part of the national park.
