A rustic excursion into the wild
For many decades, Europe has been doing badly when it comes to special wild animals that were thought to have disappeared. Until now. For some years now, wild cats and other wild animals, such as beavers or lynx, have been seen again in Austria. This is also mainly due to the fact that they and their habitats have been placed under protection.
The return of the wild cat and co. has far-reaching positive effects on flora and fauna, and indeed on the entire ecosystem. The exciting reasons for their disappearance and the now slow return of these animals will be explained by our ranger during this wild excursion through the national park.
